Obituary of Doris Kaplan

DORIS KAPLAN WOODRIDGE, NY NOVEMBER 12, 1920~JUNE 1, 2014 Doris Kaplan, a bookkeeper at the former Pines Hotel, and the widow of Morris Kaplan, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Achieve Nursing and Rehab Facility in Liberty, NY with her family by her side. She was 93 Doris was born in the Bronx, NY the daughter of Nat and Tillie Greene. She was a member of and secretary to Loch Sheldrake Senior Citizens Club. Doris was well known, respected and loved by many in the community. She is survived by her daughter; Michele Denenberg and her husband Dennis of Woodridge, NY, her grandchildren; Jaimie and Justin Denenberg, Nicole Montessano, her great grandchildren; Adam Denenberg, Samantha and Alexander Montessano. She was predeceased by her parents, Nat and Tillie Greene, her husband Morris, and her sister Phyllis. She was the most wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother a family could ever have. She will be extremely missed by all who had the honor and pleasure of having her in their lives. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 12pm in the Joseph N.
