Obituary of Fred M Gasthalter

Fred M. Gasthalter November 26, 1937-June 8, 2013 Tamarac, Fl Formerly of Parksville, NY Fred M. Gasthalter, the former owner and operator of the Best Western Paramount Hotel in Parksville, NY, and former longtime area resident, died on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the University of Miami Hospital, Miami, Fla. He was 75 years old. Fred was a member of the Parksville Synagogue, and the Fallsburg Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons. He is survived by his sister; Sandra Katz and her husband Henry of White Plains, NY his nephews: Dr. Steven Katz and his wife Lisa, and David Katz and his wife Sheri, his niece Allyson Schlesinger and her husband Jarrod. Fred is also survived by his girlfriend Eleanor Cohen. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 12 noon in the Parksville Synagogue Cemetery Lilly Pond Rd.
