Myrna Krauss, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in the loving care of her son Kenneth.
Myrna was born on October 21, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Harry Lopato and Fanny Krinovitz. On February 21, 1959, she married the love of her life Philip Krauss, who predeceased her in 2002.
She was a long-time resident of Middletown, New York where she and her husband proudly raised their family. Myrna held many responsible positions throughout her career as a bookkeeper in both New York City and the Hudson Valley.
Myrna retired to Monticello and became very active in the community. She was President and former Treasurer of the Monticello Senior Citizens Club and Treasurer of the Prime Timers. Myrna greatly missed her circle of friends in Monticello whom she considered a second family. We will be eternally grateful for the love and support that her friends gave her.
