Obituary of Judith Jacobs

Judith Jacobs February 17, 1947- January 26, 2014 Age 66 of Wurtsboro, New York Judith M. Jacobs of Wurtsboro, a retired teacher's aide from the Fallsburg Central School District, died Sunday, January 26, at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty. She was 66. The daughter of the late Sol and Ruth Cohen, she was born Feb. 17, 1947, in the Bronx. Judith was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and colleague. She truly enjoyed her profession, and had established a strong rapport with many of her students. Survivors include one son Richard Jacobs, husband to Belinda and father of Sophia, one daughter Caryn Decker, wife to Michael and mother of Rory and Madison, and one brother Joel Cohen. Graveside services and burial will be held Today, January 28, at 2:30pm at the Anshe Tzaydik Cemetery, Route 209, in Wawarsing with Rabbi J.J. Hecht officiating. Funeral arrangements by Joseph N.
