Obituary of Robert "Bob" Goldberg

Robert "Bob" Goldberg July 1, 1926-January 27, 2014 87 Years old Of Goshen, New York Robert Goldberg, "Bob" to all that knew and loved him, died on Monday morning, January 27, 2014 at the Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown. He was 87. The son of the late Harry and Fannie Goldberg he was born in Brooklyn on July 1, 1926. A proud WWII Veteran, serving as a surgical technician in the Army, Bob worked later worked in New York City in textile industry as a manager. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and the American Legion. In addition to his parents, Bob is predeceased by his Wife, Phoebe Bowden Goldberg. He is survived by his step-son, Jeffrey Bowden; his grandchildren, Daniel Bowden, Les Bowden, and Leah Bowden; his 2 nephews, Charles Gaynor and Edward Gaynor, and additionally by his grand nieces and nephews, Ken Gaynor and Beth Lipat. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 12:00pm at the Congregation Anshe Tzadyik Cemetery, Route 209, Wawarsing. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home of Ellenville.
