One thing you can say about Buddy is that he enjoyed life!! No one lived life to it's fullest like he did. I loved spending my time at his home with the family and always felt like I was a part of it. When I think of growing up, so many of my memories involve the Goldsmith's... and their dogs!! When you think of the them you think of dogs!! Giant dogs, little wrinkly dogs, bull dogs....always dogs and always love. I'm going to miss you Buddy, but you have added so much to my life. Rest in peace and I know you are lying there with a smile on your face, because you have never been without one. Love you.

Dear Myrna, Roni, Howard and all of Buddy’s Family,
I send my deepest personal condolence to each of you over the passing of Buddy and share in your loss.
I have always treasured out friendship and admired his many accomplishments. I spent my earliest years living on my grandmother’s small farm in Maplewood not far from Coopers Corner where Buddy also grew up.
We all know that Buddy was a true champion. What truly distinguished Buddy is that he possessed an unrelenting and innate wisdom and a “heart of pure gold” that allowed him to reach out and help youth both with special needs and without transform and reveal their own personal champion and importance within themselves.
In the end his lifelong dedication to helping transform others has made the world he touched a far better place. Take comfort in knowing there is no greater indelible positive legacy than the one Buddy has left behind.
In lasting memory of a most noble and magnificent friend,
Jan Novie

I coached skiing as NFA's assistant coach for ten years and always enjoyed working with him whether as an opponent or as a section 9 team coach at Lake Placid. Buddy was always competitive, fair, sincere, and highly spirited. Your family, friends, and community have lost an invaluable asset. My thoughts are with you all.

I am saddened to here of Buddy's passing. I truly enjoyed his company. He was a gentleman and a fierce competitor. We competed against each other on the ski slopes and his teams were always the ones to beat. Rest in peace Buddy.

We had your back to the bitter end.
You were taken from us so soon, we know not why
But our memories from these many years won’t die.
You’re in our hearts and there you’ll stay
