I worked with Mitch in the D.A.'s Office in Portland, Maine, starting, I think, in 1989 through 1994. Every time I've seen Mitch since then, we've done a little catching up. Mitch was just a great guy, and he gave tremendous service to the Cumberland County D.A.'s Office, where he continued to work all these years. I will genuinely miss Mitch. My condolences to his family for the loss.

Our deepest condolences to Mitchell's family. He was my co-worker and a friend. He was one of the kindest and most thoughtful persons to have walked this earth. He was never judgmental and always there to help with everything and anything. The world was a better place because of him. May his memory be a blessing; our hearts are with you.

Go in God Mitchell, you will be truly missed. Worked with Mitch at CCDA and he was always so kind and caring and concerned for everyone. Always ready to bring back bagels from NY when he visited home. God speed!

We wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Klapper family. We knew Mitch from our time with him at Portland Pirate and Lewiston Maineiac hockey games. He was one of the kindest and most generous men we have had the privilege of ever knowing. He will be deeply missed.
