Obituary of Louis Lampert
Louis Lampert, a loving son, husband and father passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Reseda, CA. He was 93. The son of the late Henry and Ethel Goldstein Lampert, Louis was born on December 10, 1924 in Poland.
Louis came to this country when he was 4 years old. He grew up, married and raised a family in Brooklyn, NY. He and his wife retired in Mountaindale NY. After losing his wife he moved to Martin and Edith Stein Assisted Living in Somerset, NJ for a year and then to Los Angeles Jewish Home in Reseda, CA. He served his country in the Army in WWII, and served his community as a volunteer first aid respondent. He approached life with a sense of humor and positive attitude and he will be missed by all.
Survivors include his daughter; Rachelle Lampert, sister; Shelly Littauer and brother; Sid Lampert.
Louis was pre-deceased by his parents, his beloved wife Zeriah “Zee” Lampert in 2009 as well as his loving daughter Deborah Lampert in 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 2:30pm at the gravesite of the Hebrew Congregation of Mountaindale Cemetery, Marsh Road, Glen Wild, NY with Rabbi Nachus Nathan officiating.
