Today is a year since your passing. We recently learned of this and although it bought sadness but it did bring wonderful childhood memories of you as a great guy, good dancer and funny sense of humor. Your brother Martin, deceased, and cousin Marcelo were also part of our youth. About ten years ago you came back into our lives and were as wonderful a guy we remembered from years past.
We don't know the circumstances of your passing but hope you did not suffer.
You will always be a part of our memories Herbie.

My sincerest condolences to Herb's family. Although it's been almost one year since he passed, I only just found out about it. Don't know if the family is still reading these but I hope so.
Herb and I were childhood friends and sweethearts. We were just 15-16 years old when he joined our group in the Bronx. I have wonderful sweet memories of those days. We reconnected in 2008 after so many years. He came down to see me in Florida, where I now live, and we had a great visit remembering old times. One of our other friends lives in New Mexico and the rest of us are here. Herbie called me shortly before he passed and we spoke for a long time. I'm so sad we didn't get to speak again, although I've thought about him many times since then.
To say that we are sad is a complete understatement. We pray the family is at peace. Sorry, we never got to meet.
Just know that we really loved him. On behalf of his childhood family.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Herb. I was a former employee at his office and worked with him on a daily basis, preparing for upcoming hearings, trials, etc. He was so wonderful to work with and I loved his sense of humor. It brings back some very happy times working with him and the firm. My deepest condolences.
