Obituary of Howard Bauer

Howard Bauer, a long-time resident of the Sullivan County area, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Orange Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Howard was 84. Born on March 27, 1934 in the Bronx, N.Y. He was the son of the late Joseph and Rose Bauer. 

Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked as a Glazier at Local 1087 Union in NYC. Howard shared his love for nature and gardening with his family while retiring in the Catskills.

Howard is pre-deceased by his wife, Selma H. Bauer, who passed away in 2012.

He is survived by his 4 children, Michael, Phyllis, Mark and Joyce. Howard is also a Grandfather and Great Grandfather. 

A graveside funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00am at the Sullivan County Veteran’s Cemetery, Sunset Lake Road in Liberty with full military honors.
