Obituary of Arnold Woloshin

ARNOLD WOLOSHIN MONTICELLO, NY Arnold Woloshin, a longtime trainer & groom at Monticello Raceway, the Meadowlands and Yonkers Racetrack, died on Monday, April 18, 2005 in Heather Hills Hospital, Chardon, Ohio. He was 54. Arnold was born in Brooklyn, NY the son of Herman & Fran Shapiro Woloshin. He loved his job, working with and being with horses. He is survived by his wife Geraldine at home in Monticello, his sons; Robert Woloshin of San Diego, Calf, and Robert Smith of Monticello, his daughters; LeighAnn Woloshin of Monticello and Cheyanne Smith of Monticello, his stepson; John Sherota and his wife Jennifer of Monticello, his stepdaughter; Rebecca Sherota and her fianc Greg Decker, and his grandchildren; Emily Decker and Justin Sherota. Arnie was a special person and loved by all. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2005 from 10am to 12pm at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Funeral services will be held at 12pm at the funeral home. Cantor Michael Sturm will officiate.
