Our deepest sympathies to Neil and the entire Nissenbaum family. Alice, Debbie (Barry), Steven are so glad we did get to visit with Niss in October. We have lots of wonderful memories of this kind, gentle, and gracious man. Every summer from 1958 (or 59) until 1970, Niss was there to welcome us to Rosenblum's. We cherish our memories.

Nissy was a stand-in grandpa for me and I loved spending time swimming with him and John in Spring Glen and Florida, enjoying meals together, learning from his wealth of knowledge and hearing some of the many colorful stories of Nissy’s life. He’ll be sorely missed.

I spent eleven summers at Rosenbaum's, in a part of his home. They were the best summers of my life. So glad I was able to see him this past summer. An awesome human being.

Nissy was a great influence on my life. We stayed at Rosenblum’s every year until age 13. Loved all of the family. Lots of memories from my days there. Hunting, fishing, boating, playing softball, and being a kid. He taught me a lot. I worked at the gas station, learning and playing with Knucklehead. He was one of a kind, and will truly be missed.
