Obituary of Renee Horowitz

RENEE HOROWITZ SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY AND BOYNTON BEACH, FL Renee Horowitz of South Fallsburg and Boynton Beach, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 12 at the JFK Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida following a short illness. She was 69 years old. The daughter of the late Nathan and Sarah Horowitz, Renee was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 15, 1937. Having spent most of her life in the Catskills Hotels, working at the Pines and Kutchers, she retired to a life of leisure with her devoted companion Alvin Sherb. Renee is survived by her loving companion, Alvin Sherb or Monticello, several nieces and nephews, Arline and Stanley Papkoff, Steven Papkoff, Lori Papkoff-Brooks, Shari Sheiner and Randy Blanton and great nieces and nephews, Meredith, Alysse, Mikal, Jesse, Matthew, Ian and Alex as well as may loving friends. Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, April 16 at 1pm in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello, NY. Interment will follow in Temple Sholom Cemetery, Southwoods Dr. Monticello. Donations in memory of Renee may be made to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements by Joseph N.
