Walt was one of the first gentlemen to introduce himself to me at the annual Indian Field picnic decades ago. A real classy guy, a great sailor on the lake. I asked him how he became such a skilled sailor: "Practice. And I can always scent when and which way the wind will change. It's a gift." Always asked after my wife and son. The man was a gem.
