Obituary of Todd Charles Kantor

Brooklyn, NY - Formerly of Hurleyville, NY

Todd C. Kantor of Hurleyville, NY passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021 in Brooklyn, NY. He was 52. The son of Kenneth and Susan Kantor, Todd was born on February 17, 1969 in Middletown, NY.

Todd was a daredevil, always chasing his next thrill. Whether it was the world's fastest roller coaster, riding ATVs through the craziest, self-made trails, or spending a year following the Grateful Dead with nothing more than a backpack, he had an abundance of fearless energy. He was a free spirit who loved all the journeys he took and the adventures he encountered.  

Survivors include his parents, Kenneth and Susan Kantor; his sister, Merisa Kantor; two nieces, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.  

A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at the Swan Lake Synagogue Cemetery, Hysana Road, Liberty, NY. 

Shiva will begin following the funeral at Susan and Kenny's Hurleyville home. In addition, the family will be sitting Shiva: Wed:  7-9 p.m., Thursday: 1-4 & 7-9 p.m., and Friday: 1-4 p.m.  Rabbi Medwin will lead a Shiva minyan at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
