Obituary of Jonathan A. Levine

Liberty, NY

Jonathan A. Levine of Liberty passed away Wednesday morning, the fifth of January, 2022, after a brief struggle with pancreatic cancer. He was 62.

Son of Bernard and Jean Levine, Jonathan was a lover of nature, fond of hiking and camping with his loved ones. A voracious reader, with a particular appetite for American history, he could be found most nights with a new book in his hands, eager to share what he had learnt. His intelligence and work ethic served him well through his professional career, seeing him grow from warehouse labor to contract manager for a major corporation.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judith, their three sons, Jared, Jeffery, and Jason, and his sister, Ena Haase.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00am at the Congregation Ahavath Israel Synagogue Cemetery, Hysana Road, Liberty, NY 12754.
