Obituary of Laura Smith A/K/A Scarmato

LAURA SMITH MONTICELLO, NY Laura Smith of Monticello passed away on Sunday February 12, 2006 at the DeWitt Nursing Home in New York City. She was 80. Laura was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 2, 1925 the daughter of Saul & Rebecca Goodman Traub. She is survived by her two sons; William and Ira Smith both of New York City, NY, her two grandchildren; Jason and Sherry Smith and her companion James Yapp at home in Monticello. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 2:30pm in Temple Sholom Cemetery South Woods Dr. Monticello, NY Rabbi Michele Medwin will officiate.
