Obituary of William Feinstein
WILLIAM FEINSTEIN
BETHEL, NY
William Feinstein, the retired forty year owner and operator of Sample Service Corp in Long Island City, and ten year Bethel resident, died on Saturday, July 1, 2006 in St. Clairs Hospital in Dover, NJ. He was 75.
After retiring he worked as a merchandising rep in the upstate New York area and in Pa and NJ for the Topps Meat Company. He was an avid golfer and was a member at Grossingers Golf Club and later at the Villa Roma. William served as a cook in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
William was born on May 16, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Jack and Mary Baum Feinstein.
He is survived by his wife Sharon at home in Bethel and his three daughters; Judy Chanowitz and her husband Ben of Highland Park, NJ, Jackie Kelin and her husband Alan and Lisa Feinstein, and his three grandchildren; Mira Chanowitz, and Avital and David Kelin. He is also survived by his Brothers In Law and Sisters in law, several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 1:30PM in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello, NY. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery Route 17B, Bethel, NY.
