MEYER SPARER HURLEYVILLE, NY AND MARGATE, FLA
Meyer Sparer, the owner and operator of Kimmys Antiques in Hurleyville, NY died o April 12, 2006 in Fla. He was 87.
Meyer was born in New York City on October 28, 1918 the son of Gershon and Rachael Leah Dickman Sparer. He was a World War II Army Veteran, a longtime member of JWV Post 108 in Crown Heights, the longtime President and member of Cong. Anshe Hurleyville and supporter of many area synagogues and supporter and fundraiser for Israel and other Jewish charities and organizations.
He is survived by his two sons; Harvey and his wife Lela of Hurleyville and Ira and his wife Kiyomi of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and his three grandchildren; Kimberly, Naose and Izumi.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at 5pm in Cong. Anshe Hurleyville. Main St. Hurleyville, NY. Burial will be in the Hurleyville Synagogue Cemetery Hurleyville.
