Obituary of Roslyn Yablon
ROSLYN (AUNT ROZ) YABLON YULAN, N.Y.
Roslyn Yablon, the widow of Martin Yablon who passed in 1992, died on November 13, 2006, at home in Yulan.
Roz was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Jacob and Fanny Kaplan.
She was a lifetime member of Hadassah, a member of the Prime Timers of Temple Sholom of Monticello, and a member of the Highland Senior Center. She loved living in Yulan working daily on her crafts of knitting and sewing. Her passion for knitting led her to making hats for the Senior Center and lap robes for the Skilled Nursing unit of Catskill Regional Medical Center.
Roz will be missed not only by her family and friends but also by the birds and animals she so lovingly cared for everyday. REST IN PEACE.
She is survived by her nephews, Andrew and Stephen Glasser; her daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Barry in 1988.
Graveside funeral services were held on November 15, 2006 in King Solomon Memorial Park, Clifton, N.J.
