LILLIAN B. SOLOMON
ELLENVILLE, NY
Lillian B. Solomon, a longtime resident of Ellenville and the former owner & operator of Mountaindale Commodities in Ellenville, died on Monday, December 4, 2006 in Calvary Hospital. She was 87.
Lillian was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 19, 1919 the daughter of Phillip and Clara Kleidman Bergman. She was the widow of Herman (Hyam) Solomon who passed in 1988. Lillian was a longtime member of Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue and the Sisterhood; she was also a member of Turnberry Synagogue in Aventura, Fla and Hadassah.
She is survived by her two daughters; Henra Briskin of Pittsford, NY and Doreen Bluman of France and her husband Gerard, her one brother; Benjamin Berman of New Jersey, her four grandchildren; Craig and Seth Briskin and Marc and David Bluman and her seven great grandchildren; Emma, Clara and Zachary Briskin and Carla, Benjamin, Eva and Elena Bluman and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 2pm in Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville, NY. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate. Burial will in Ezrath Israel Cemetery Route 209 Wawarsing, NY.
