Obituary of Erma Slatus

ERMA SLATUS WURTSBORO, NY Erma Slatus, a retried NYC Public School teacher, and the widow of Marton Slatus, died on Tuesday, January 02, 2007 in the Horton Campus of Orange Regional Medical Center. She was 80. Erma was born in Brooklyn on March 22, 1926 the daughter of Isidore and Ruth Levine Lutsky. She is survived by her son; Gary Slatus and his wife Shelley of Mass, her daughter; Lisa Justus and her husband Robert of Wurtsboro, her two sisters; Ritz Newman and Estelle Witt, and her three grandchildren; Jennifer, Kathryn and Arielle. Graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 11am in Temple Sholom Cemetery South woods Dr. Monticello, NY. Rabbi M. Medwin will officiate. .
