Obituary of Lena Baumann

LENA LEE BAUMANN LIBERTY, NY Lena Lee Baumann of Liberty, NY passed away February 25, 2007 in Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris, NY. She was 92. Lee was the owner of the Sullivan County Travel Bureau from 1967 until her retirement in 1996. She was a life member of Hadassah, Sisterhood of Congregation Ahavath Israel, and the Liberty Chamber of Commerce where she was honored with a lifetime achievement award. She has always been known for her loving nature, caring heart and her spirit. She was born in Summerton, South Carolina on October 5, 1914. Her parents were Reubin and Sarah Gordin. She was predeceased by her late husband L. Leonard Baumann. Survivors include her children Aaron and Stanley Baumann of Los Angeles, CA, Reva Mishkin of New York City, NY, her grand children Lauren Henry, Daniel Baumann, Jason Baumann, Leilah Simcha Baumann and Celina Baumann and her great grandchildren Kiera Henry, Kai Henry and Kelsie Baumann. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 2, 2007 at 11:30am in Congregation Ahavath Israel Synagogue Chestnut St. Liberty, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Burial will be in Ahavath Israel Cemetery, Hy-San-na Road, Liberty, NY. The family will receive visitors at the family home in Liberty, NY, from Friday evening thru Sunday.
