Obituary of Bessie Ratner

BESSIE RATNER ROCHESTER, NY Bessie Ratner a longtime resident of Mountain Dale, passed away June 3, 2007 at age 98. Bessie was born in Spring Glen, NY on December 22, 1908 the daughter of Hyman and Katie Litvinoff Meyerson. She was Predeceased by her husband, Morris Ratner and sister, Rose Wasserman. She is survived by her daughters, Kaleen Litvak and Barbara (Marvin) Rosen; grandchildren, Scott (Debra), Keith (Nancy), Steven (Marcey), Douglas, and Sharon (Glenn); great-grandchildren, Samantha, Max, Jessica, Hailey, and Adison; her sister, Anne Kaufman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be heldat the Mountain Dale Synagogue Main St. Mountain Dale on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 2 PM. Rabbi Irving Goodman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mountain Dale Synagogue Cemetery, Marsh Rd. Glen Wild, New York. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Jewish Home Foundation, 2021 Winton Rd.
