Obituary of Herbert Weinstein

HEBERT WEINSTEIN LIBERTY, NY Herbert Weinstein, a longtime resident of the area and a retired Plumber with Union Local #373, died at home on Thursday, November 01, 2007 with his family by his side. He was 82. Herb was born in Brooklyn on April 29, 1925 the son of Morris and Jennie Kenfer Weinstein. He was a life member of the Liberty Elks Club #1545, the Knights of Phthisis, Cong. Ahavath Israel of Liberty and a member, past president and chairman of the cemetery committee for the Parksville Synagogue. He is survived by his wife Rita Silvermitz Weinstein at home in Liberty, his two daughters; Lois Weinstein of Monticello and Mindy Weinstein of Union, NJ, his sister; Ruth Goldberg of Pembrook Pines, Fla and his brother; Fred White of Las Vegas, NV and several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Friday, November 2, 2007 at 2pm in the Parksville Synagogue Cemetery, Parksville, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate.
