Obituary of Seymour Rogers

SEYMOUR ROGERS HARRIS, NEW YORK Seymour Rogers, a longtime resident of the Center for Discovery, passed away on Saturday November 3, 2007, surrounded by his Otis Armstrong Family. He was 73. The son of the late Isidore and Esther Rogers, he was born on September 26, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY. Seymour was recently reunited with many old friends when he moved to the Otis Armstrong House from Hamilton House. Retired from the Sullivan ARC at Rose valley, Seymour enjoyed a wide variety of activities and was very social. He always remembered your name. He endeared himself to everyone that knew him. He will be remembered always, especially at Holiday Times when he spoke the prayers. He will be missed by all. He was a good man. Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 1:30pm at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello, NY. Rabbi Ben Zion Chanowitz will officiate.
