Obituary of Esther Bertha Lederman

ESTHER LEDERMAN SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA Esther Lederman died peacefully at home on Friday, November 2, 2007 in Sunnyvale, California at the age of 91 surrounded by her loving family. Born Esther Samuelson on September 16, 1916 she was the daughter of Michael & Bessie Samuelson of Woodridge, NY. Before moving to California she resided in the Bronx, NY, Yonkers, NY, Monticello, NY and Margate, Fl. Married for 68 years she is survived by her loving and adoring husband Morris. She is also survived by her daughters, Roslyn Fishman and her husband Dr. Daniel Fishman of Saratoga, CA, and Beverly Canter and her husband Dr. Joel Canter of Stanfordville, NY. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were an enormous source of pride and joy; Dr. Lauren Canter Friedlander and her husband Jason of Philadelphia, PA, Julie Canter of San Francisco, CA, Brett Fishman of Saratoga, CA and Emily Fishman and her husband Jackson Butler and their boys Levi and Jonah of Mill Valley, CA. Esther was predeceased by her brother Charlie. A private funeral service will be held on Friday morning, November 9, 20007 in the Workmen Circle #281 Cemetery Glen Wild. Following the interment service the family will receive friends at the home of Beverly and Joel Canter in Stanfordville, NY. Memorial donations in memory of Esther may be made to Hospice.
