Obituary of Eunice Stein

EUNICE STEIN NANUET, NY FORMERLY OF ELLENVILLE, NY Eunice Stein, a retired legal secretary for Panzer & Kaplan in NYC, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 in the Northern Manor Multi Care Center in Nanuet, NY. She was 91. Eunice was born in Scotland on August 4, 1916 the daughter of Max and Hannah Friedman Masonberg. She was a member of Hadassah and Cong. Ansche Tzaydik Synagogue in Ellenville, NY. She is survived by her two daughters; Merle Hess and her husband Frank of Ellenville, and Karen Lefkowitz and her husband Mark of Monsey, her five grandchildren; Robert, Brian and Amy Hess, Jan Lefkowitz and Robin Fineman and her five great grandchildren; Tjaden, Eva, Gabe, Max and Gwen and several nieces and nephews. Eunice was predeceased by her brothers; Jack and Calman Mason and her sisters; Bess Bookman, Rose Eichenholtz, Edith Provenza and Gertrude Marks. Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 10am in Cong Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville, NY. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate.
