Obituary of Rose Finkelstein

ROSE FINKELSTEIN HIGHLAND, NY FORMERLY OF ELLENVILLE, NY Rose Finkelstein, a longtime resident of Ellenville and a retired accounting clerk for 20th Century Fox in New York, died on Monday, December 03, 2007 in Wingate at Ulster in Highland, NY. She was 93. Rose was born in Montreal, Canada on March 24, 1914 the daughter of Mayer and Peppe Coopersmith Herscovitz. She was a member of Cong. Ezrath Israel Synagogue in Ellenville and the Sisterhood of Ezrath Israel and Hadassah. She is survived by her daughter Randie Ratick and her husband Larry of Highland, her son Mark Miller and his wife Cindy of Scottsdale, AZ, her two brothers; Murray Mayer and Leonard Mayer both of Ocala, Fl, her three grand children; Sheri, Lauren and Benjamin and her one great granddaughter Lily, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers; Herman and Rubin Mayer and two sisters; Lillian and Brandee. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 5 at 10am in Cong. Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate. Burial will be in Ezrath Israel Cemetery Route 209 Wawarsing, NY.
