Obituary of Oscar Sondak

OSCAR SONDAK KERHONKSON, NY Oscar Sondak, a retired Union Local 201 Plumber, and lifetime Kerhonkson resident, died on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Ellenville Community Hospital. He was 82. Oscar was born in Kerhonkson on April 17, 1925 the son of William and Sadie Levine Sondak. He is survived by his daughter; Robyn Sondak of Avon, Ct., his two sons; Michael Sondak and his wife Rachel of Overland Park, Kansas and Scott Sondak and his wife Sheila of Dacula, Georgia, his sisters; Ruth Sondak of Delray Beach, Fla and Celia Sondak of Kerhonkson, NY and his brother; Benjamin Sondak of West Palm Beach, Fla, and his five grandchildren; Ashley, Ryan, Corey, Gavin and Carson Sondak. He was predeceased by his brother Sol Sondak. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 2pm in Cong Anshe Tzaydik Synagogue Canal St Ellenville, NY.
