Dear Laurie and Geryl,
Although I have talked with you both and sent a codolence note, I am still unable to fully grasp the passing of your dear mother, Sadye.
She was a great and dear friend who had such a zest for life, an unbelievable sense of humor and a great smile!
I will never forget the day I walked into the luncheonette and your mom's hair had turned green after she tried to have it dyed blonde. I was about to say something and your mom said, "Richard, don't say it!" With that your mom took my order, your dad made my sandwich and we were all happpy!
Just know that I am thinking of you often and send you my love.
Richard C.

Laurie and Geryl, I don't have addresses or phone numbers. I hope this gets to you. I have very fond memories of obth of your parents, who were so kind to my father and me as neighbors and friends. I think happily about times spent working at the luncheonette, watching my father take cash during the evening post-movie rush, and just hanging out. I hope you are both well and experiencing some solace in happy memories of your mother, who was a great person.
