HERBERT LIPSON
DALLAS, GA FORMELY OF LIBERTY, NY
Herbert Lipson, the retired owner/operator of the Holiday Inn in Liberty and the Tri Tavern in Liberty, died on Saturday, January 5, 2008 in the Wellstar-Paulding Hospital in Dallas, Ga. He was 84.
Herb was born on August 6, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Nathan and Rose Samuels Lipson. He was a member the Liberty ELKS, Lions Club, the Sullivan County Golf Club in Liberty, and Ahavath Israel Synagogue.
He is survived by his wife Florence at home, his son; Warren Lipson and his wife Suzanne of Powder Springs, Ga, his seven grandchildren; Ben and Jason Sabloff, Adam, Darren, Michael and Jay Farber and Carlos Hooker, and also his six great grandchildren; Abby, Livia and Eli Sabloff and Joey, Julian and Thailer Farber.
He was pre deceased by his daughter; Donna Sabloff and his sister Irma Garment.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 11am in Ahavath Israel Synagogue Chestnut Street Liberty, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Burial will be in the Ahavath Israel Cemetery Hy-San-Na Rd. Liberty.
