To Danny and family---I knew your mom for years. She was a close friend of Philomena's and often came to my/my father's house in Monticello for brunches and dinners. That is where I met her. We had a lot of fun sitting around the dining room table eating and discussing all kinds of issues. My dad passed away in 2010. Then, totally by coincidence, I met your mom again about 6 years ago at Grey Towers in Milford, Pa.! Who would have thought? She was a volunteer historian there, and she wrote the first scripts that my fellow acting colleagues and I read from/interpreted for the now annual October "Cemetery Walk" in the old Grey Towers cemetery! She came to my Acting class in Port Jervis one day to tell us about the project. I was SO happily surprised to see her and find out about this volunteer "job" in the history/archeology department. She wrote the script that I still use today when I portray Eliza Cross Pinchot for the Cemetery Walk. This year, I will take a brief moment of silence to remember her, her good work, her kindness, and her dedication before I begin speaking. I have never met you, Danny, but I have heard great things about you over the years from Phil and of course from your mom! Sending you hugs and love.
