Obituary of Marcia Resnick

MARCIA FRIEDMAN RESNICK AVENTURA, FL Marcia Friedman Resnick, died on Saturday, April 12, 2008 in Mount Sinai Hospital, Miami Beach, Florida after a brief illness. She was 88. Marcia was born in Woodbourne, NY on September 28, 1919 the daughter of Phillip and Mary Orshan Friedman. She graduated from Fallsburg High School in 1937 and later worked at Intercounty Feed Co-Op, where she meets her lifelong partner Harry Resnick of Oakridge, NY, the Co-Founder of Channel Master. She was a longtime member of Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue in Ellenville. She is survived by her husband Harry Resnick, her children; Arnold Resnick, Justin Resnick and Debbie Yaravitz, her ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her sisters; Gladys Mittleman and Nancy Polonsky and numerous nieces & nephews. Marcia was pre-deceased by her beloved daughter, Trudy Resnick Farber and her sister, Lillian Wang and by her brother Leon Friedman. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 1pm in Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville, NY. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate.
