Obituary of Sol Albert

SOL ALBERT ELLENVILLE, NY Sol Albert, the retired co-owner and operator of Alberts Bakery in Ellenville, NY died at home on Monday, April 14, 2008 with his daughters by his side. He was 87. Sol was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 25, 1920 the son of Usher and Molly Albert. Sol was a World War II Army Veteran, and member of Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue in Ellenville. He is survived by his two daughters; Ronnie Shildkret and her husband Richard of Ellenville, NY, and Aileen Matthews and her husband Ray of Ellenville, NY, her two sons; Mark Albert and his wife Marion of Lake Worth, Fla and Glenn Albert of Kingston, his five grandchildren; Lisa Lanier, Jennifer and Daniel Matthews, Geri Fragette and Jaimi Biagi, and his five great grandchildren; Jack and Jillian Lanier, Christopher and Samantha Fragette and Joshua Biagi, his sister; Sylvia Chaskes of Great Neck, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Albert who passed in 2004, his son Dean Albert , his great grandson Zachary Lanier and his brothers; Irving and Ellie Albert. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 2pm in Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville, NY. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate. Burial will be in the Ezrath Israel Cemetery Route 209 Wawarsing, NY. Shiva will be observed at the family home in Ellenville.
