Obituary of Rebecca "Becky" Rosenberg

REBECCA BECKY ROSENBERG MONTICELLO, NY Rebecca Becky Rosenberg, a longtime Monticello resident, died on Thursday, April 17, 2008, in Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris, NY. She was 88. Becky was born in Spencerville, OH on June 19, 1919 the daughter of Isaac and Leah Liff. She was a member of the Landfield Ave Synagogue and Temple Beth-El Synagogue and Hadassah; she volunteered for the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, and many other organizations. She is survived by her three daughters; Ann Cole and her husband John of North Carolina, Janet Moglia and her husband Pete of Monticello and Joan Cohen and her husband Alan of Island Park, NY, her two sons; David Rosenberg of Monticello and Jay Rosenberg and his wife Leslie of Austin, Texas, her seventeen grandchildren and her one great grandchild, her brother; Ralph Liff and his wife Lenore of Bethel and her sister; Ida Needleman of the Bronx and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2pm in Temple Beth-El Cemetery Route 17B Bethel, Rabbi Ben Zion Chanowitz will officiate. Funeral arrangements by Joseph N.
