Dear Jean and family,
I am Jack and Roselyn Siegel's daughter. I know my parents thought very highly of Norman. I had so wanted to attend the service on Tuesday to honor Norman's life but my treatments are in the mornings.
My deepest sympathies go with you and your family.......may happy memories sustain you in your grief.

My heart is filled with memories and love and is saddened by the loss of a very special person that influenced my life as a teeager and as an adult.
I knew Norm before he met Jean, whos' family was our next door neighbor..
Lots of wonderful high school tmes involved his English classes and basketball and cheerleading events that Norm and Jean were part of.
I have been honored to have been in touch with them every so often over the past 52 years since graduating Ellenville High School in 1951.

Norm was certainly blessed by his creator. He willingly passed this on to all he educated and affirmed. Thanks Norm, for bringing our freshman basketball guys together with joy and hard work. Also, many thanks for superb efforts in Social Study classes. Your character enrichment efforts have reached around the Globe.
May God grant you restful peace.

Norm was one of my heroes. I molded my beginning career after him - teaching and coaching on the HS level. He pushed my buttons, made a man out of me, and his intellect was fascinating. He was one of a kind, and I feel so fortunate that he came my way. My best to you, Jean, and the family for strength and health during this sad time, yet it is a time to pause and reflect about this special man.
