Sally Efromson Grosberg, 94 May 2, 1915 - July 10, 2009 Hurleyville, NY Sally Efromson Grosberg of Hurleyville, died Friday, July 10, 2009 at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She was 94. The daughter of the late Samuel Deutsch and Bella Schoenbrun Deutsch, she was born May 2, 1915 in Hurleyville. She was a retired registered nurse and nursing supervisor at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. She is survived by a daughter: Edith "DeDe" Toledano Efromson of Jerusalem, Israel; her stepdaughter: Deborah Rothberger & her husband Rabbi Joseph Rothberger of Flushing; a stepson: Rabbi Robert Grosberg & his wife Cindy of West Orange, NJ; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her two previous husbands: Mitchell Efromson and Samuel Judah Grosberg; three brothers: Harold, Abe and Eddie Deutsch; and two sisters: Mae Waxman and Gussie Wand. Funeral services and burial will be held on Sunday, July 12 at 9:00am at the Hurleyville Synagogue Cemetery in Hurleyville. Memorial contributions can be made to the Landfield Avenue Synagogue in Monticello or to the Yeshiva Zichron Moshe in Fallsburg. Arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph N.
