Obituary of Sylvia Zaretsky

Sylvia "Sis" Zaretsky, 94 Rock Hill, NY October 31, 1914 - July 14, 2009 Sylvia Zaretsky entered into rest on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 94. The daughter of the late Max and Rose Rosenfeld, she was born October 31, 1914 in New York City. She was predeceased by her loving husband Bernard Zaretsky on May 10, 1990 and her loving daughter Tama Kay Stibrany on December 11, 1990. Survivors include her son Mort Rosenblum and wife Caroline of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by two brothers: Henry and Al Rosenfeld and four sisters: Gertie, Martha, Lillian and Selma. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 10:00 am at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY. Burial will follow at the Beth David Cemetery in Elmont. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of ones choice.
