Obituary of Florence Sussman

Florence Sussman, formerly of Liberty, NY passed away peacefully in Boca Raton, FL on February 6,2015. Florence was born August 19, 1921 in Jeffersonville, NY to Benjamin and Sadie Yeager (nee Zweigenbaum). She is predeceased by her husband, Harold, a former attorney for the Village of Liberty. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Class of 1938. She and Harold were married March 22,1942, and continued to live in Liberty where she was a member of the Liberty Garden Club, Hadassah, the Sisterhood of Congregation Ahavath Israel, and the Sullivan County Golf and Country Club. Survivors include her son, Robert Sussman (Gayle) of Ridgewood, NJ and her daughter, Barbara (Dr. Marvin) Frogel of Hilton Head Island, SC; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Sussman, Amy Sussman, Rachel Sussman van der Meer, David Frogel, Nicole Frogel Cohen and 7 great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters ,Tillie Albert and Sara Kobrin and her brothers, Morris Yeager and Daniel Yeager. Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Garlick Funeral Home in Monticello, NY. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice, honoring her memory.
