Obituary of Milton Lachterman
MILTON LACHTERMAN
CARROLLTON, TX FORMERLY OF ELLENVILLE, NY
Milton Lachterman, a former fifth grade teacher in the Fallsburg School System for ten years and Elementary Principal in Ellenville Central School for 25, passed away in Carrollton, Texas on December 7, 2005 of ALS. He was 73.
Milton was born on September 28, 1932 in Dairyland, New York the son of Jacob and Sadie Lachterman. Milton was also a Counselor at Woodbourne and Sullivan Correction Facilities, a member of Woodbourne Fire Dept. and a member of the Woodbourne First Aid Squad, and was also a member of the Ellenville Noon Day Club and The Ellenville Elks.
He is survived by his wife Wilhema at home in Texas, his three daughters; Reni Parker of Frisco, Texas, Michelle Weiner of Plano, Texas, and Jamie Villarreal of The Colony, Texas and seven grandchildren as well as a sister; Toby Kross of Macon, Georgia and his nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville, New York on Sunday December 11, 2005 at 11am. Interment will be in Anche Tzaydik Cemetery Route 209 Wawarsing, New York. Shiva will be at Ron and Fran Elias home Knoll Acres-Ellenville, New York from Sunday to Wednesday.
