Obituary of Sadie Kraf

SADIE KRAF MOUNTAINDALE, NY AND DELRAY BEACH, FL Sadie Kraf, a retired bookkeeper in the family business of Kraf Construction in Mountaindale, NY for many years and the widow of Joseph Kraf, passed away on March 6, 2008 in the Sullivan County Adult Care Center, Liberty, NY. She was 98. Sadie was the daughter of the late Isidore and Rose Korman Rubin; she was born in New York City on February 3, 1910. She was a member of the Mountaindale Synagogue and a life member of the Mountaindale-Woodridge chapter of Hadassah, doing fundraising for the chapter for over 30 years, and probably best remembered for her penny socials in the Mountaindale Firehouse every summer. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Gil and Bobbi Kraf, her grandchildren; Linda Ingber, Ira Kraf, Brian Kraf, and Ira Haimann, her great-grandchildren; Adam & Jonnelle Ingber, Noah Ingber, Sara Ingber & Eddie Fernandez, and Zachary Ingber, her great-great-granddaughters; Aiden Bree Fernandez, Jerica and Johnni Ingber, her nieces; Leni Binder, Susie Keller and her nephews; Paul Cohen, Martin Rubin and Leonard Rubin and many great-nieces and nephews. Sadie was also predeceased by a brother; Charles Rubin and two sisters; Pauline Smith and Molly Gashun. Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 11am in the Mountaindale Synagogue Cemetery Marsh Rd. Glen Wild, NY. Rabbi Yakov Barros will officiate.
